Professor Cassandra Wood

My name is Cassandra. Cassandra Wood.

Sound familiar? That's right, I'm related to the one, and only, Oliver Wood, Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch Team (1991-1994). I'm the little sister that no one knew about. Oli always outshone me, everyone knew who he was, especially after Gryffindor won the cup in 94. I didn't get sorted into Gryffindor though... I started school in September 1998, only months after the infamous Battle of Hogwarts. I was a Ravenclaw, an eagle through and through. I never shared Oli's interest in Quidditch, choosing to spend my time in the library or in the Ravenclaw Common Room, reading or studying. I didn't mind getting into a bit of mischief with my best friend now and then though. Two girls from Slytherin and Ravenclaw, Dominique and I were unlikely friends. When we finished school in 2004, we were linked at the hip. After years of traveling the world together, we met the loves of our lives. In 2012, I married Xavier Stone, a muggle-born from England and made my application to become the History of Magic Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
